ICE achieve accreditation to the SAFEcontractor scheme for another year.

Being able to demonstrate that we take health and safety seriously and having our management systems vetted by industry recognised third party experts is very important for us.

SAFEcontractor test our procedures every year to make sure that we are still achieving the high standards that they set and continue to have a good track record for safe practice. They only give accreditation to those companies that meet their high standards and we are pleased to say that we have achieved accreditation for another year.

John Kinge, Head of Risk at SAFEcontractor, said: “Organisations can no longer run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove they have sound health and safety policies. More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that ICE has. The firm’s high standard has set an example which will hopefully be followed by other companies within the sector.”

Robert Parkes, ICE Technical Services Manager said “Good health and safety is good for business. SAFEcontractor accreditation will enhance our ability to attract new customers and demonstrates our on-going commitment to safe working to our existing clients.”
