As part of our continuous improvement endeavours we are very pleased to announce that we have passed the formal UKAS accredited assessment by BSI and our environmental management system achieves the requirements of the internationally recognised ISO 14001 standard. The certificate will take pride of place on our office wall of accreditations.
Business Manager Karen Butler said “BSI certification to ISO 14001 is as good as it gets for recognition of our environmental management system. It shows we are serious about reducing our environmental impact and improving the ICE business.”.
It doesn’t stop with gaining the accreditation, we’ve set ourselves challenging targets to reduce our annual electricity consumption by 30%, cut the waste we send to landfill by 20% and improve the fuel consumption of our vans 5%.
